Paws 2 Care Spring Fling
Date: April 20th Time: 3:00pm
Spring will soon be here again! Paws 2 Care is planing a Spring Fling Party.
Ya'll do so much for so many with your wonderful dogs! So this is an opportunity to spend time with other volunteers and friends without our four legged ones.
There will be a silent auction and raffles for different gift baskets, prizes, games such as corn hole, Ping pong, bocce ball and food for all to enjoy. Of course there will be lots of photo opportunities!
It will be lots of fun and give everyone a chance to meet new members as well as reconnect with old friends. Bring your family or guests and join in the festivities!
We will have tacos, finger sandwiches, salad and chips. You can bring a side dish or dessert if you want but it is certainly not necessary! Please feel free to bring your favorite drink of choice.
We are hoping some of you would like to make a gift basket or donate an item to go in the basket. We really need help getting various items together to make it a successful event. So please let me know if you can donate ANYTHING! Here are some suggestions:
1. Dog Basket....collar, leash, treats, toys, brushes, clippers, grooming items
2. Garden Basket....gloves, trowel, hat, lotion, seeds, plant, kneeling pad, decorative item
3. Spa Basket....Bubble bath, soaps, luffa, oils, candles, wine and glass, cd, choclate candy Mens Tool Basket, Kids Basket, Get Away Basket, Mystery Basket(Anything goes!) All ideas are welcome!! We planed this event for early evening so people that don't like to drive at night could come and enjoy the friendship and fun!
Please feel free to RSVP if you already are planing to attend. We really want everyone that can possibly make it to come and have fun!!!! And if you can donate an item we will be collecting the items by March 31st. If you have any questions please feel free to email
Barbara Tanner (tinytanspots@mindspring.com) or you can reach me at (864) 977-8076 leave a message and I'll get back to you that day.
Thank you all for everything that you do to bring smiles throughout the upstate and beyond!!

PAWS2CARE CAR MAGNET
This is the magnet…..although it was scanned sideways. The writing will be straight up and down and the paw print will be to the right a little. The size is 5 ¾ by 5 ¾. The next size was really too big. This is the perfect size also if you wanted to put it on your gas tank lid. If we can order 50…..the price would be about $4.00 each. The least amount to order is 25, but the price increases by a lot. If we can get close to the 50 that would be great which would leave some to have on hand for us. Anderson will probably order 15 or so. And I would like to order extras also. It would be fine for everyone to respond to me with their orders and then I will get with you about ordering extras.
Please let Beverly Gault know if you would like to order one or more!!

Stolen Pup
Please help to find Jagger. He was taken from his home in the City View area of Greenville, SC today, Monday, 2/18/2013. He is only 10mos old. If you have seen this pup please call his mom, Dona Hamilton at 864-449-1478. She is sick over having lost her furbaby.
There have been several dogs stolen in the past months when the dogs have been out in a fenced yard when the owners were away. There have also been some incidents when the owners were at home and the dogs were taken. It seems the problem is getting worse and just want to make each of you aware that this is going on in our community! I know some dogs that are stolen are used as bait dogs and thieves can also get money from some chemical companies for testing. I know you all love your dogs and hope this information will not scare or alarm you: I just wanted to let you know what is becoming a problem and possibly keep your dog from being kidnapped.

Ibuprofen or Tylenol
Toxic to Dogs
I share this because it can happen SO quickly! Mataya is here today because I acted quickly when she accidently got hold of a bottle. We see dogs all the time coming into the clinic you have been given ibuprofen or Tylenol. Please remember they're both toxic to dogs and do not give them to your dog I always remind all my puppy owners! Spread the word it could save a dog's life
